祝酒干杯的由来

祝酒为什么要碰杯呢？到现在为止有三种说法。
   一种说法是，碰杯是古希腊人创造的，传说古希腊人注意到这一个事实，在举杯饮洒之是，人的五官可以分享到喝酒的气味，而只有耳朵被排除在这一享受之外，怎么办呢，希腊人想出个办法，在喝酒之前，互相碰一下杯子，杯子发出的清脆的响声传到耳朵里，这样，耳朵就和其他器官一样，也能享受到喝酒的乐趣。
   第二种说法是，祝酒碰杯起源于古罗马，古代的罗马崇尚武功，常常开展角力竞技。竞技前选手们习惯饮酒，以示相互勉励之意，由于酒是事先准备的，为了防止心术不正的人在给对方喝的酒里放毒药，人们想出一种防范的方法，即在角力前，双方各将自己的酒向对方的酒杯中倒一些，以后，这样的碰杯便逐渐发展成为一种礼仪。
   还有一种说法是，干杯一词起源于16世纪的爱尔兰，原意是烤面包，当时的爱尔兰人有这样的习惯，把一片烤面包放入一杯盛士忌或啤酒中，以改善酒味及去除酒的不纯性，到了18世纪，干杯这个词才有了今天的含义，干杯时，人们往往还要互相碰杯，因为人们认为在喜庆的日子里魔鬼无所不在，无孔不入，但它一听见叮当声就吓得逃之夭夭，据说这与教堂敲钟是同一个意思，于是欢庆的人们互相碰杯，发出叮当的声音来驱赶魔鬼。

酒的起缘
